Tom’s 35 years of sailing experience (racing and cruising) gives him the intimate understanding of a boat’s mechanics and workings: lines, deck hardware, sails, points of sail and related gear, crew and their jobs.  This knowledge combined with his love of all things “sailing” allows him to capture the excitement of racing - a boat’s bow powering through a wave and freezing that moment in time where action and passion come together on canvas.
